Update Windows 7
Look for updates that are available for your Windows 7 setup. Install any pending updates by going to Control Panel > Windows Update by train.
Make sure you have a reliable internet connection with enough bandwidth to download updates. If you continue to have problems connecting, try rebooting your modem or router.
To get rid of problems brought on by damaged or out-of-date cache files, clear Windows Update cache. For Windows 7, go to Microsoft’s official instructions to empty the update cache.
Use specialized tools to identify and resolve issues with Windows Update components .If the problem continues, such as the Microsoft Fix It tool or the Windows Update Troubleshooter.
Turn off any firewall settings or third-party antivirus software that might be preventing Windows Update from working properly for the time being. Let them try again, one by one, to find the offender.
